SAUNA BOOKINGS

Boost your recovery with our hot rock sauna at The Combat Centre. Sitting between 85–95°C, our sauna accelerates circulation, reduces muscle tension, and promotes deep sweating to support detoxification and performance. It’s ideal for fighters, athletes, and anyone wanting to unwind, reset, and recover.

Please note: Sauna bookings must be made at least 1 hour in advance so we can heat the room to optimal temperature before your session.

Private bookings: For exclusive use of the sauna, get in touch at macca@thecombatcentre.nz.

Sauna rules:

  • Book at least 1 hour in advance so we can heat the sauna to the correct temperature.

  • Shower before entering to keep the sauna clean and hygienic (we have a shower at the gym that can be used).

  • Bring a towel to sit on.

  • Stay hydrated before and after your session.

  • Limit oils, lotions, or creams as they can damage the benches and affect air quality.

  • Keep conversations quiet to respect others using the space.

  • Do not pour water on the rocks unless instructed by staff.

  • Exit immediately if you feel dizzy, nauseous, or unwell.

  • Minimum age 16 unless supervised by a parent or coach.

  • Respect time limits so the next booking can start on time, staff member will let you know when it is time to leave.
